Margaret D’Arrigo, Treasurer

Margaret grew up in an agricultural family in Salinas, graduated from local schools, earned degrees from UC Davis and CSUMB. She has served on the Hartnell College Foundation for 17 years as President, board member, President’s Task Force, Ag Steering and Ag Advisory committees, WELI, Party in the Library, Salinas Valley Promise program. She co-founded IMPOWER and for the past 11 years helped raise over $175,000 to support local women & girls. Margaret has over 30 years of experience in agriculture. She have served as Chair of the Grower Shipper Association, GSA Foundation, SVMH Board of Directors, Monterey County Food Bank, Bright Futures, Women’s Fund for Monterey County, CSUMB Women’s Leadership Group, Salinas Rotary, Healthy Youth Task Force and received the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce Athena Award, KSBW Jefferson Award, CA Agricultural Leader, AG Woman of the Year for Ag Against Hunger and United Fresh, Girl Scouts Distinguished Leader and Hartnell Leadership award. She is a Hartnell College alumnus, a community volunteer, a philanthropist, and proud mother of twin boys.
